Ceigall India Limited has received a Letter of Award (LOA) from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited for an integrated renewable energy project in Madhya Pradesh with an estimated value of around Rs 1,700 crore.
The LOA, dated February 9, 2026, covers the development of Unit 1 at the Morena Solar Park. The scope includes a 220 MW solar power project integrated with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The project was awarded through a tariff-based competitive bidding process at a quoted tariff of Rs 2.70 per kWh.
The project has a construction period of 24 months, followed by an operational tenure of 25 years. It is expected to add to Madhya Pradesh’s renewable energy capacity while supporting grid stability through energy storage for peak demand management and improved dispatch reliability.
Ramneek Sehgal, Chairman & Managing Director of Ceigall India, stated that the project aligns with India’s target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity and underscores the company’s commitment to supporting the nation’s energy transition. This award marks a strategic expansion for Ceigall India into large-scale renewable energy infrastructure, complementing its existing portfolio in transportation and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects.
