The Competition Commission of India (CCI) is conducting a market study to assess competition issues within the renewable energy sector across BRICS nations.
The study, led by CCI Chairperson Ravneet Kaur, is part of the broader BRICS framework, which originally included Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, with other countries later joining the bloc.
In addition to this study, the CCI is also examining competition-related issues in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Kaur noted that the commission regularly explores new areas for market studies, guided by market dynamics and enforcement priorities.
