NTPC’s NETRA develops indigenous catalyst for CO2 to methanol conversion

NTPC‘s R&D division, NETRA, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP) Dehradun, has developed an indigenous catalyst for converting CO2 into methanol.  This catalyst, crucial for chemical synthesis, facilitates CO2 hydrogenation and is currently being tested in a 10 kg/day methanol pilot plant. Tata Power acquires 40% stake in 600 MW Bhutan hydropower project

NLC India reports Rs 9.82 billion net profit for Q2FY25

NLC India Limited has posted a net profit of Rs 9.82 billion for the quarter ending September 2024, marking a 9.58% decrease from the Rs 10.86 billion reported in the same period last year.  However, the company’s total income rose by approximately 35%, reaching Rs 43.70 billion for the quarter, compared to Rs 32.34 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year.
