Brookfield Properties to power Delhi-NCR campuses with renewable energy

Brookfield Properties will use renewable energy from its solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, to provide green power to four of its office campuses in the Delhi-NCR region. This marks the company’s first collaboration in India under the Inter State Transmission System (ISTS) bilateral framework. The initiative will supply 40% of the energy needs for tenants at the Candor TechSpace campuses located in Sector 48 and Sector 21 in Gurugram, and Sector 62 and Sector 135 in Noida.
This move, part of the Brookfield India Real Estate Trust portfolio, is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 20,000 tonnes annually. Brookfield Properties, a leading global developer and operator in the real estate sector, manages more than 1,100 properties across 390 million square feet worldwide under Brookfield Asset Management.
In India, the company manages approximately 55 million square feet of assets across ten major cities, with over 45 million square feet currently operational. Brookfield Properties is renowned for its commercial, residential, and retail properties, delivering high-quality office spaces and commercial developments that meet the evolving needs of businesses.
