BHEL appoints new heads for power marketing and FSIP units

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has announced new leadership appointments for two key business units. The changes were disclosed to the stock exchanges through separate filings dated December 15.
Shri Navin Kaul has been appointed as General Manager and Head of Power Sector Marketing, Power Sector Business Group I (PS BG I), based in New Delhi. He has over 33 years of experience at BHEL and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication. In his new role, he will lead a core marketing function within the power sector business and report to the Director Power.
Shri Sunil Kumar Somani has been appointed as General Manager and Head of the Fabrication, Stamping and Insulator Plant (FSIP) at Jagdishpur. Somani has completed 35 years of service with BHEL and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering. He will be responsible for overseeing operations at the manufacturing facility and will report to the Director Engineering and Research and Development.
Separately, BHEL also informed the exchanges that it promoted 16 senior executives to the position of Executive Director with effect from December 10, 2025.
