BAJEL Projects wins 99 km transmission line contract in Rajasthan

BAJEL Projects Limited, formerly Bajaj Electricals Limited, has secured the contract for Transmission Line Package TL04. The package involves the construction of the 400 kV double circuit (quad) Siwani–Jind (PG) transmission line spanning 99 km.

The project is part of the transmission system for the evacuation of 6 GW of renewable energy under the Rajasthan Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) Phase IV (Part 3: Bikaner Complex – Part B). The contract was awarded on July 2, 2025. BAJEL confirmed that the order is valued between Rs 30 billion and Rs 40 billion. 

Earlier this month, BAJEL also announced it had received the “Award of Excellence” from PGCIL for safety and performance across its projects.
