Alpex Solar invests Rs 10 crore in subsidiary, scales capacity

Alpex Solar Limited has approved an equity infusion of up to Rs 10 crore in its wholly owned subsidiary, Alpex Green Energies Private Limited, to support expansion, working capital, and operations. The subsidiary provides engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services across solar, wind, hydrogen, and other green energy segments.

The company has consolidated aluminium frame manufacturing at Unit VII in Kosi Kotwan Extension, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The facility has an installed capacity of 6,000 metric tonnes per annum, which is expected to increase to 12,000 metric tonnes per annum by the end of FY27. Commercial production has also commenced at Unit V in Greater Noida, adding 1.2 GW and taking total module capacity to 2.4 GW.

For the quarter ended December 31, 2025, operating revenue rose 245.4% year on year to Rs 648.08 crore. EBITDA increased 144% to Rs 90.90 crore, and profit after tax rose 132% to Rs 54.27 crore. For the nine months ended December 31, 2025, revenue stood at Rs 1,551.32 crore, EBITDA at Rs 161.19 crore with a 15.12% margin, and profit after tax at Rs 148.24 crore.

The order book stood at Rs 1,899.55 crore as of December 31, 2025. Key orders include a Rs 210.71 crore module supply contract from Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) and a Rs 349.99 crore EPC contract from Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDI). The company also cited the Union Budget 2026 exemption of basic customs duty on sodium antimonate as supportive of domestic manufacturing.
