AGEL commissions 185 MW wind project at Khavda

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has commissioned a new 185 MW wind power project at Khavda, Gujarat, through its wholly-owned stepdown subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Five C Limited (AGE25CL), bringing the company’s total operational renewable energy capacity to 17,472.2 MW.

The decision to operationalise the facility was made at 11:46 a.m. on February 28, 2026, following receipt of all relevant regulatory clearances. Power generation from the plant commenced on March 1, 2026.

The Khavda site in Gujarat has emerged as a significant hub for AGEL’s renewable energy expansion. The addition of this 185 MW wind installation represents the latest step in the company’s broader strategy to scale its clean energy portfolio across India.

The development was disclosed to stock exchanges in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, which requires listed companies to promptly report material operational milestones to the market.

With this commissioning, AGEL’s cumulative operational renewable generation capacity now stands at 17,472.2 MW, reinforcing its position as one of India’s largest renewable energy producers.
