Advait Energy Transitions Limited, formerly Advait Infratech Limited, has secured a turnkey contract worth Rs 32.93 crore from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCL) for upgrading transmission lines using High Temperature Low Sag (HTLS) conductor technology. The order was received on January 16, 2026.
The scope of work covers the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning for converting five existing 66 kV transmission lines in the Himatnagar Circle. These include Jamla-Mansa-1, Khedbrahma-Vartol, Vijapur-Sunadarpur, Vijapur-Malosan, and Vijapur-Ranasan-1. The project involves replacing the existing DOG conductors with equivalent HTLS conductors.
According to the disclosure, the new HTLS conductors will have the same weight as the existing conductors while offering higher current-carrying capacity. The project has an execution timeline of nine months from the date of the Letter of Award, and the disclosed contract value includes all applicable taxes.
Earlier this month, Advait Energy had informed the stock exchanges that it emerged as the lowest bidder in two competitive tenders. These included a Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme project, awarded by Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL), for 11 kV Medium Voltage Covered Conductor works across five locations in Gujarat, and a transmission line reconductoring project, awarded by Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (PTCUL). The combined indicative value of the two projects exceeded Rs 270 crore, inclusive of taxes.
