Adani Power Limited (APL) has signed a business transfer agreement (BTA) with North Maharashtra Power Limited (NMPL) to acquire the Adani Dahanu thermal power station (ADTPS), which has a capacity of 2×250 MW (500 MW) in Dahanu, Maharashtra.
With this acquisition, Adani Power’s total generation capacity will increase to 17,550 MW.
GE Power India Ltd has secured a Rs 472.7 million order from Steag Energy Services (India) Private Ltd for renovation and maintenance (R&M) work on a 600 MW boiler. The order value excludes an 18% GST, according to the company’s exchange filing. The project is expected to be completed within 6.5 months.
