Adani Green Energy Limited has created two new step-down subsidiaries to expand its renewable energy portfolio. The companies, Adani Hydro Energy Thirteen Limited and Adani Hydro Energy Sixteen Limited, were incorporated on 21 November 2025 and are fully owned by Adani Saur Urja KA Limited.
AGEL notified BSE and the National Stock Exchange through a letter dated 21 November 2025 in line with the SEBI Listing Regulations. Both entities sit under Adani Saur Urja KA Limited, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of AGEL.
The subsidiaries have been set up to pursue renewable power projects. Their scope covers the generation, development, transformation, distribution, transmission, sale, and supply of electricity from wind, solar, and other clean sources. AGEL stated that the incorporations fall within its core business activities.
