Adani Energy incorporates new subsidiary in Puducherry

Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has announced the incorporation of a new wholly owned subsidiary, Adani Electricity Puducherry Limited. The company was officially registered on August 25, 2025, and will focus on electricity distribution and related businesses.
The subsidiary has been set up with an authorised and paid-up share capital of Rs 1 lakh. According to the company’s filing, the new entity is yet to commence operations but has been formed to handle activities across the electricity value chain, including generation, transmission, transformation, supply, and distribution.
Adani Electricity Puducherry Limited is registered with the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat, at Ahmedabad.
The new subsidiary is part of AESL’s ongoing expansion in power distribution. In August alone, the company has established five other entities: Adani Energy Solutions Step-Sixteen Limited, Adani Electricity Vasai-Virar Limited, Adani Electricity Kalyan Dombivli Limited (AEKDL), Adani Electricity Pune Limited (AEPL), and Adani Electricity Vidharbha Limited (AEVL).
