Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight Limited and Adani Green Energy Twenty Four A Limited, wholly-owned subsidiaries of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), have commenced commercial operations of a 174.9 MW wind-solar hybrid power project in Gujarat’s Khavda Renewable Energy Park on December 28, 2024.

The project includes 62.4 MW wind capacity by Adani Renewable Energy Forty Eight and 112.5 MW solar capacity by Adani Green Energy Twenty Four A. The hybrid project is part of AGEL’s 9,500 MW allocation within the 30,000 MW Khavda Renewable Energy Park.

The park spans 23,000 hectares in the Rann of Kutch and involves contributions from major developers, including Sarjan Realities (4,750 MW), Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (2,375 MW), Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (3,325 MW), NTPC Limited (4,750 MW), and AGEL (9,500 MW). 

The park’s wind zone is managed by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) through competitive bidding. The total project investment is estimated at Rs 1,500 billion.
