ACME Solar signs PPA with SECI for 200 MW solar ESS project

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has reported that its subsidiary ACME Platinum Urja Private Limited has entered into a PPA with SECI Limited for a 200 MW solar project paired with an ESS.  

ACME Solar stated that the agreement covers a 200 MW solar unit with storage. SECI will purchase power at a tariff of Rs 3.42 per kWh. The project will supply renewable energy during solar hours and during peak periods, based on the buying entity’s schedule. The PPA will remain in force for 25 years from the signing date. The SCOD is June 30 2027.

The company added that the PPA was signed on November 24, 2025 after the Central Regulator adopted the tariff and the State Regulator cleared the power procurement. The new contract completes the 350 MW capacity awarded to ACME Solar by SECI in July 2024. A 150 MW PPA from the same award was executed in October 2024.

ACME Solar has now signed PPAs covering 5.38 GW. Its operational contracted portfolio is 2,934 MW, and 4,456 MW is under construction.
