ACME Solar commissions BESS capacity in Rajasthan

ACME Solar Holdings Limited has commissioned the fifth phase of two Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in Rajasthan through its wholly owned subsidiaries, adding a combined 109.334 MW of storage capacity. Both phases have achieved commercial operation date (COD) on April 8, 2026, according to regulatory filings dated April 6, 2026.
At the Phalodi–Jodhpur project in Village Badi Sid, Tehsil Bap, spanning Phalodi and Jodhpur districts, ACME Sun Power Private Limited has added 33.334 MW / 160.48 MWh in the fifth phase. The project has a total sanctioned capacity of 300 MW / 1,409.34 MWh. Following this phase, the cumulative commissioned capacity at the site has reached 166.670 MW / 802.460 MWh.
At the Jaisalmer project in Villages Sanwara and Mehar Nagar, Tehsil Pokhran, ACME Suryodaya Private Limited has commissioned 76 MW / 160.512 MWh in the fifth phase. The total project capacity stands at 285 MW / 601.904 MWh. With this addition, the cumulative commissioned capacity at the site has increased to 247 MW / 521.652 MWh.
Both projects form part of ACME Solar’s ongoing energy storage deployment in Rajasthan, with phased commissioning continuing across both subsidiaries.
