AboitizPower and Upgrade Energy Philippines (UGEP) have signed a long-term solar power purchase agreement (PPA) with Republic Cement & Building Materials (RCBM).
Their joint venture, Aboitiz Upgrade Solar (AUSI), will develop, build, and operate a ground-mounted solar project at RCBM’s Bulacan facility.
The project, slated for completion in the second half of 2025, aims to lower operational costs and carbon emissions for the cement manufacturer.
