Resonia energises 68 km, 765 kV Ajmer-Chittorgarh LILO line
Resonia Ltd. has successfully energised the 68 km, 765 kV Ajmer-Chittorgarh Loop In & Out (LILO) transmission line, with four associated 765 kV circuits charged at the Beawar Substation.
The energisation marks a key milestone for the transmission project and involved the simultaneous charging of the 765 kV Beawar-Ajmer Ckt-1, 765 kV Beawar-Ajmer Ckt-2, 765 kV Beawar-Chittorgarh Ckt-1 and 765 kV Beawar-Chittorgarh Ckt-2.
The circuits were successfully energised at the 765/400 kV Air Insulated Substation (AIS) at Beawar in a single shot.
The 68 km LILO arrangement connects the Ajmer-Chittorgarh transmission corridor with Beawar, enabling the existing 765 kV line to be looped into and out of the Beawar Substation.
The energisation was completed safely and on schedule, with the project and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) teams involved in the milestone. The execution also involved site engineering, planning, construction, quality, safety and other supporting teams.
