Juniper Green to launch Rs 1,800 crore IPO on July 30

Juniper Green Energy is set to launch a Rs 1,800 crore Initial Public Offering (IPO) on July 30, 2026, through a fresh issue, as the renewable energy company looks to reduce debt and strengthen its balance sheet to support further expansion.

Backed by AT Capital Group and Vitol Energy, Juniper Green Energy has built a portfolio spanning solar, wind, Wind-Solar Hybrid (WSH), Firm & Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), supported by integrated Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) capabilities.

The company, led by CEO Ankush Malik, had a total portfolio of 10,247 MWp of renewable energy capacity and 4,563 MWh of BESS capacity as of June 2026.

Portfolio

Of the total portfolio, 2,408 MWp of renewable capacity and 503 MWh of BESS were operational as of June 2026.

Another 3,656 MWp and 3,010 MWh of BESS were under construction and contracted, while 4,181 MWp and 1,050 MWh of BESS were under construction and awarded.

Juniper Green Energy’s portfolio comprises 50 projects across four states. As of March 31, 2026, the company was among the top 10 renewable energy Independent Power Producers (IPPs) in India by total capacity.

The overall portfolio of approximately 10.2+ GW of renewable capacity and 4.56 GWh of BESS reflects the company’s expansion across multiple renewable energy technologies and storage.

IPO proceeds

The Rs 1,800 crore IPO will consist of a fresh issue and is scheduled to open on July 30, 2026.

Proceeds from the offering will primarily be used for debt reduction and strengthening Juniper Green Energy’s balance sheet, supporting the company’s next phase of renewable energy expansion.
