Waaree Renewable wins EPC orders for 1,082 MWp solar projects

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited has secured two Letters of Award (LOA) for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) projects with a combined capacity of 800 MWac / 1,082 MWp. The orders were received on July 25, 2026, from one of India’s leading renewable energy companies.

The two projects comprise a 400 MWac / 530 MWp solar PV plant and a 400 MWac / 552 MWp solar PV plant. Both are scheduled for completion during FY 2027-28, in accordance with the terms of the orders.

Order details

The contracts cover EPC execution of the two ground-mounted solar projects, taking their aggregate capacity to 800 MWac / 1,082 MWp.

Waaree Renewable Technologies said the contracts are domestic commercial orders. No promoter, promoter group or group company has any interest in the entity that awarded the contracts, and the transactions do not fall under related-party transactions.

The company is a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited.

Q1 performance

The new orders come after Waaree Renewable Technologies reported strong growth in revenue and earnings for the first quarter of FY27. Consolidated revenue from operations increased 53.23% year-on-year to Rs 924.25 crore from Rs 603.19 crore in Q1 FY26. 

Consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 47.58% to Rs 173.48 crore, compared with Rs 117.55 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. EBITDA margin stood at 18.77%. Profit after tax (PAT) increased 37.70% to Rs 118.97 crore from Rs 86.40 crore in Q1 FY26, with PAT margin at 12.87%.
