Waaree Energies receives additional 212 MW international module order
Waaree Energies Limited has secured an incremental order for the supply of 212 MW of solar modules from an existing international customer, according to a regulatory filing dated July 16, 2026.
The latest order increases the company’s total contracted capacity with the customer to 562 MW, following an earlier order for 350 MW.
The customer is an international entity engaged in the ownership and management of utility-scale renewable energy projects. Waaree Energies stated that the contract is a one-time order and will be executed during FY27.
With the addition of the new order, the total volume of solar modules to be supplied to the customer has increased by more than 60% compared to the original contract.
The company did not disclose the identity of the customer or the financial value of the order.
In its filing, Waaree Energies stated that none of its promoters, promoter group entities or group companies have any interest in the awarding entity. The company further clarified that the transaction does not qualify as a related-party transaction.
The additional order reflects continued demand from international utility-scale renewable energy developers for Indian-manufactured solar modules, as domestic manufacturers continue to expand their export presence in overseas markets.
Waaree Energies is one of India’s largest solar module manufacturers and has been expanding its manufacturing footprint to cater to both domestic and international demand.
