Solex Energy secures Rs 628 crore solar module supply order
Solex Energy Limited has secured a work order worth Rs 628.37 crore from a global renewable energy group for the supply of solar photovoltaic (PV) modules.
According to the company, the order covers the supply of N-Type TOPCon G12R Glass-to-Glass solar PV modules rated at 615 Wp and 620 Wp. The contract is valued at Rs 628.37 crore, inclusive of all applicable duties and taxes. The customer has operations across multiple countries.
Module manufacturing
Solex Energy manufactures solar modules at its facilities near Surat, Gujarat. The company’s products are certified under IEC, CE, UL, CEC, BIS, EPD, and KIWA PVEL 2026 standards, and are listed under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s (MNRE) Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM).
The company’s 3.78 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Surat has also received approval under the MNRE’s ALMM framework.
Financial performance
For FY26, Solex Energy reported total income of Rs 1,621.1 crore, an increase of 143.9% from Rs 664.8 crore in FY25. Profit after tax (PAT) rose 132.7% to Rs 98.3 crore from Rs 42.2 crore a year earlier. In Q4 FY26, revenue increased 247.6% year-on-year to Rs 885.8 crore, while PAT surged 289.4% to Rs 58.9 crore. The company’s PAT margin stood at 6.1% for FY26, while Q4 PAT margin expanded by 71 basis points year-on-year to 6.6%.
