Rajesh Power Services bags Rs 653 crore PGVCL underground cabling orders
Rajesh Power Services Limited (RPSL) has secured turnkey orders worth Rs 653.12 crore, including taxes, from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) for underground power distribution works in Gujarat.
The contracts involve converting existing 11 kV high tension (HT) and low tension (LT) overhead distribution networks into underground cable systems with Ring Main Systems (RMS). The scope also includes Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping and asset tagging across the Bhavnagar, Anjar, Junagadh and Porbandar circles.
The projects are to be completed within 18 months and were awarded in the normal course of business.

RPSL is an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company focused on the power transmission and distribution sector. Its operations include turnkey execution of GIS and AIS substations, extra high voltage power cables, transmission lines, distribution systems, and operation and maintenance services. The company is executing projects across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha.
The latest award follows an Rs 211.68 crore order received from Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) last month for transmission infrastructure works, marking the company’s entry into Odisha.
