HARTEK secures 400 MW solar EPC project in Rajasthan
HARTEK’s Renewables Business Unit has secured a 400 MW utility-scale solar Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) project in Rajasthan. The project will be executed in two phases, comprising two solar power plants of 200 MW each, with a total installed capacity of 299.2 MWac/400 MWdc.
Project scope
Beyond constructing the solar generation assets, Hartek Power will build a 220 kV Solar Pooling Substation to enable evacuation of power into the grid. Under the contract, the company will execute the complete EPC scope, including detailed engineering, procurement, installation, construction, testing and commissioning of the solar photovoltaic plant and the associated pooling substation.
The scope also includes handling owner-supplied equipment, grid interconnection and final project commissioning.
“We are grateful to our customer for placing their trust in Hartek to deliver this landmark project. This order reflects the confidence our customers have in our engineering excellence, strong execution capabilities, and proven track record of delivering complex power and renewable infrastructure projects. As India accelerates its clean energy transition, the focus must be on building both renewable capacity and the grid infrastructure needed to integrate it efficiently. With our integrated EPC expertise across renewable generation and high-voltage transmission, Hartek power is well positioned to deliver reliable, future-ready energy infrastructure that supports India’s long-term clean energy ambitions,” said Simarpreet Singh, Executive Director & CEO, Hartek Power.
The project comes as India continues to expand investments in renewable energy, transmission infrastructure and grid modernisation to support its target of 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030. Integrated renewable energy projects combining generation and evacuation infrastructure are playing an increasing role in supporting grid integration.
In February 2026, Hartek Group’s power systems business unit secured cumulative orders worth Rs 735 crore across the utility, Independent Power Producer (IPP), and industrial segments. The contracts cover substation and transmission infrastructure projects ranging from 66 kV to 765 kV across multiple states, expanding the company’s transmission portfolio.
