Koraam Secures 5.8 MW Maharashtra Order for 1,200 Solar Pump Structures

Koraam, powered by Kosol Energie Pvt. Ltd., has secured a 5.8 MW order from Sandip Electronics and Automation (SEA) for the supply of Module Mounting Structures (MMS) for solar water pumping systems across Maharashtra.

The order covers the supply of more than 1,200 solar pump structures designed for 3 HP, 5 HP and 7.5 HP pumping applications, supporting solar-powered irrigation projects across the state.

Order scope

Under the contract, Koraam will supply Module Mounting Structures manufactured using High Definition Galvanized Iron (HDGI) and pre-galvanized steel.

According to the company, the structures have been designed for long-term durability and performance in agricultural applications. They have been designed and approved by SVIT, Surat, comply with IS 2911 standards for pile foundation design, and are engineered to withstand wind speeds of up to 150 kmph.

The structures also allow adjustment of module direction and tilt angle according to the sun’s position to improve energy generation and pumping efficiency.

The company said the project will support large-scale deployment of solar irrigation infrastructure and expand Koraam’s presence in Maharashtra’s agricultural solar market.
