GK Energy secures Rs 48 crore rooftop solar order

GK Energy Limited has received an allotment for 10 MW of rooftop solar projects valued at Rs 48.02 crore, inclusive of GST. The order covers proposed rooftop solar installations at 1,150 locations across India and has been awarded by a distribution company.

Order details

The contract comprises one-time rooftop solar installations and is domestic in nature. The project is scheduled to be completed within 90 days from the date of the order.

The company stated that neither its promoter, promoter group nor group companies have any interest in the entity awarding the contract. It also confirmed that the order does not constitute a related party transaction.

FY26 financial performance

GK Energy reported revenue from operations of Rs 1,532.54 crore for FY2025-26, registering a 40% year-on-year increase. Profit after tax (PAT) rose 51.1% to Rs 201.27 crore, while EBITDA stood at Rs 313.18 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 20.44%.

As of March 31, 2026, the company had moved from a net debt position to a surplus cash position of Rs 240.61 crore.
