Waaree Solar Americas bags 236 MW solar module supply order

Waaree Energies Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas Inc., has received an order for the supply of 236.22 MW of solar modules. The order was received on June 29, 2026, from an international customer engaged in developing and managing sustainable infrastructure solutions, particularly in the renewable energy sector.

The company said the supply of the solar modules is scheduled during the first and second quarters of FY 2027–28. It described the order as a one-time commercial transaction.

Waaree Energies stated that the transaction does not involve any related party and that neither its promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in the customer awarding the order.

The order follows a clarification issued by the company regarding media reports on a determination by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in EAPA Consolidated Investigation No. 8163. According to Waaree, the CBP confirmed that the company did not export solar modules manufactured using Chinese-origin solar cells to the United States.
