Adani Power secures 2,500 MW RTC renewable energy contract from MSEDCL

Adani Power Limited has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) for supplying 2,500 MW of round-the-clock (RTC) renewable energy. The company disclosed that the LoA was received on April 1, 2026.
The contract follows Adani Power being declared the successful bidder through an e-reverse auction process. It covers a supply period of 25 years, starting from the Scheduled Commencement Date of Supply, and will be governed by the terms outlined in MSEDCL’s tender and the LoA.
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s (SEBI) Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations. The company stated that the agreement is a domestic contract and does not involve any related-party transactions. It also clarified that the promoter group of Adani Power holds no stake in MSEDCL.
