Resonia appoints Prashant Sinha as CEO

Resonia Ltd. has appointed Prashant Sinha as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), elevating him from his previous role as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his earlier position, he oversaw project portfolios, business acquisition, and execution across the company’s transmission business.

Sinha has close to three decades of experience across the power, infrastructure, and financial sectors. Prior to joining Resonia, he held leadership roles at ICRA, L&T Infrastructure Finance, L&T Finance, Suzlon Wind Energy, Bondbazaar, Avera, and Tata Consulting Engineers, where he managed profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities for global operations. He holds a degree in electrical engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, and has completed management training at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore.

As CEO, Sinha will lead the development and operation of inter- and intra-regional transmission projects. His mandate includes supporting grid expansion to enable renewable energy integration and strengthen national energy security.

Management commentary
Chairman Pratik Agarwal said Sinha’s experience at Resonia includes advancing mechanised construction practices and delivering transmission corridors across the country. He added that Sinha’s focus on stakeholder engagement and execution discipline will support efficient project delivery and the broader energy transition.

Sinha stated that transmission infrastructure needs to scale rapidly while maintaining reliability, and that the company will focus on mechanisation, digital tools, and community engagement to meet these requirements.

Resonia has adopted advanced construction techniques such as drone-based stringing, double arm gin pole-assisted tower erection, and helical pile foundations. These methods are intended to improve execution timelines, enhance safety, and reduce environmental impact, particularly in challenging terrain.
