ACME Solar Holdings Limited (ASHL) has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Sun Power Private Limited, has commissioned the first phase of its battery energy storage system (BESS) project in Rajasthan.
The commissioned segment represents the initial stage of a larger 300 MW / 1400 MWh BESS project being developed at Village Badi Sid, Tehsil Bap, located in the Phalodi and Jodhpur districts of Rajasthan. The first phase has a capacity of 33.335 MW with an energy storage capacity of 160.48 MWh.
The company stated that the commercial operation date (COD) for this phase has been set as March 8, 2026.
The project is being implemented by ACME Sun Power Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ASHL.
Earlier, on March 5, 2026, ASHL announced that another wholly owned subsidiary, ACME Suryodaya Private Limited, commissioned the second phase of its BESS project in Rajasthan. This phase added 38 MW / 82 MWh of storage capacity at the project site in the Jaisalmer district. Prior to that, the first phase of the same project, also developed through ACME Suryodaya, became operational on February 25, 2026, adding 19 MW / 38 MWh of battery energy storage capacity.
