NTPC Green commissions 50 MW of Dayapar wind project

NTPC Green Energy Limited has commissioned the first 50 MW phase of its 200 MW Dayapar Wind Energy Project Phase II in Gujarat. The capacity was declared commercially operational effective from 00:00 hours on February 26, 2026.
The project is being developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NREL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy.
According to a regulatory filing dated February 25, 2026, the commissioning increases the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group to 9,201.08 MW, compared with the earlier commercial capacity of 9,151.08 MW.
