Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mumbai Port Authority to facilitate the deployment of solar power across port facilities. The agreement aims to support the use of clean energy within maritime infrastructure.
The MoU was signed and exchanged in Mumbai by Shri Manas Ranjan Mishra, Deputy General Manager (DGM), on behalf of SECI, and Shri K. Ramesh, Chief Mechanical Engineer (CME), on behalf of Mumbai Port Authority. The signing reflects a joint commitment to improving energy efficiency across public assets.
SECI stated that the collaboration aligns with its efforts to expand clean energy adoption across sectors, including maritime and port infrastructure. The initiative is positioned to contribute to broader sustainability and decarbonisation objectives.
