Solis has ranked first by market share in India’s rooftop solar inverter segment for the fifth consecutive year, according to an industry report.
The CRISIL–Bridge to India Rooftop Map shows that Solis accounted for 25% of total inverter deployments in India’s rooftop solar market. The sector added 7,117 MW of capacity in the year ended June 2025. The report attributes Solis’s position to its wide product range, established after sales service network, and close engagement with installers and engineering, procurement and construction partners.
India’s rooftop solar market has expanded on the back of lower equipment costs, better access to financing, and policy support, including the PM Surya Ghar scheme. Solis entered the Indian market early and crossed 6 GW of cumulative shipments in India in 2024. The company is nearing a shipment milestone of 10 GW in the country.
At the global level, the Ningbo, China headquartered manufacturer crossed 100 GW of total inverter shipments in 2024. Europe and India remain among its key markets.
