NREDCAP awards 64.5 MWp rooftop solar project to Sadbhav Futuretech

The New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited (NREDCAP) has selected M/s Sadbhav Futuretech Limited to implement a 64.50 MWp grid connected rooftop solar project across the state.
The project covers more than 32,000 Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe households and is being implemented under the central government’s PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. The scheme is executed in utility led capital expenditure mode through Andhra Pradesh distribution companies.
This capacity forms part of a larger state programme targeting about 1,198.21 MWp of rooftop solar installations for nearly 600,000 SC and ST beneficiaries. According to NREDCAP, the contract was awarded following a competitive bidding process that included tender notifications, e tendering and CAPEX rate negotiations.
Under the contract, Sadbhav Futuretech Limited will undertake design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the rooftop solar systems. The scope also includes operation and maintenance services for five years.
The programme aims to expand rooftop solar adoption, improve access to clean electricity for underserved households and support decentralised power generation in Andhra Pradesh.
