ACME Solar Holdings Limited announced on 16 December 2025 that its subsidiary, ACME Eco Clean Energy Private Limited, has commissioned an additional 8 MW at its 100 MW wind power project in Gujarat. With this phase, the project’s total operational capacity has reached 52 MW.
The newly commissioned 8 MW capacity is located at Titoda in Surendranagar district. Officials from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) witnessed and confirmed the commissioning. A formal commissioning certificate is expected to be issued shortly.
This marks the third phase of commissioning for the project. Earlier phases had brought 44 MW into operation. The entire 100 MW project is being financed by Power Finance Corporation (PFC) and has been executed using ACME’s in-house engineering, procurement and construction capabilities. The project uses SANY 4 MW wind turbines. Power from the project will be sold under a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
Following this commissioning, ACME Solar Holdings Limited’s total operational renewable energy capacity stands at 2,942 MW. The company also has 4,578 MW of capacity under construction, which includes around 15 GWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) installations.
