NREDCAP announces allocation from 1.2 GW rooftop solar auction
NREDCAP has announced the results of its 1.2 GW rooftop solar auction under the PM Surya Ghar programme. Twenty two firms received capacity across multiple segments. Sree Sai Electronics secured 12.07 MW, VSA Infra Projects secured 13.5 MW, and Sunworks Energy secured 13.6 MW. Junna Solar Systems won 16.18 MW, Brihaspathi Technologies won 17.86 MW, and Surya Cons received 60.2 MW. Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals secured 77.4 MW, Sadhbav Futuretech secured 90 MW, Rotomag Enertec received 139.53 MW, Kosol Energie secured 291.54 MW, and the remaining twelve bidders together secured 71.86 MW. The tender was issued in July 2025 and covers design, engineering, supply, transportation, installation, erection, testing, and commissioning.
Nuvoco Vistas buys Vadraj Energy for Rs 200 crore
Nuvoco Vistas Corporation has agreed to buy Vadraj Energy for Rs 200 crore to strengthen captive power supply for its cement operations. The firm will acquire Algebra Endeavour Private Ltd, which owns Vadraj Energy, through a Securities Purchase Agreement with JSW Cement Ltd and Alpha Alternatives Holdings. Vadraj Energy operates power generation assets in Kutch and Surat that will meet Nuvoco Vistas internal electricity needs. The deal is a full cash transaction and is expected to close within ten days after all conditions are met. The move follows the National Company Law Tribunal decision that cleared Nuvoco Vistas bid for Vadraj Cement.
Bondada Engineering signs framework deal with Adani for RE projects
Bondada Engineering has signed a framework agreement with the Adani Group for long term design and construction work in renewable energy. The agreement outlines a five year collaboration. Under the first project, Adani Green Energy has awarded the company a 650 MW solar work order. The firm also received a letter of intent in October from Adani Green Energy and Adani Green Energy Six to deliver a 650 MW solar project at the Khavda Renewable Energy Park in Gujarat. Adani Group plans major development in the Khavda region where it aims to build a 30 GW renewable energy plant under the Government of India RE Mission.
ACME commissions 16 MW second phase of Gujarat wind project
ACME Eco Clean Energy Private Limited has commissioned the second phase of its 100 MW wind project in Titoda village in Sayla taluka of Surendranagar district in Gujarat. The new 16 MW capacity follows earlier updates issued on October 17 and November 03, 2025. Officials from the Gujarat Energy Development Agency and Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited witnessed and confirmed the commissioning. A formal certificate is expected soon. The company has now reached 44 MW of commissioned capacity out of the planned 100 MW.
Servotech wins Rs 74 crore rooftop solar order in Andhra Pradesh
Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd has won a Rs 73.70 crore grid connected rooftop solar order from the New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd. The project is part of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana and covers the Kavali division. The company will design, engineer, supply, install, test, and commission rooftop systems for 5,886 Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe households. The project uses a Utility Led Aggregation model in the CAPEX category and includes five years of operation and maintenance. Servotech said the rollout will expand access to clean and affordable power for underserved communities and support state renewable energy goals.
