NGEL commissions first 75.5 MW of Khavda I solar project

NTPC Green Energy Limited has brought the first 75.5 MW of its 1,255 MW Khavda I Solar PV Project online. The segment entered commercial operation on November 19, 2025. The project is located in Gujarat and is being developed under the CPSU Scheme Phase II, Tranche III.
NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of NGEL, is executing the full project. With this commissioning, the installed capacity of the NGEL Group has risen from 7,563.575 MW to 7,639.075 MW.
The company has notified BSE and NSE of the update in line with SEBI Listing Regulations.
