RSWM Ltd, a leading textile manufacturer and flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has signed an agreement with Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) for the supply of 60 MW of renewable energy. The partnership marks a major step in RSWM’s plan to expand green energy use across its manufacturing facilities in Rajasthan.

Under the agreement, AESL will manage the entire renewable power value chain for RSWM’s additional energy needs. RSWM has invested Rs 60 crore under the Group Captive Scheme to source 31.53 crore units of green power annually from a renewable generator. With this addition, the company expects to raise the share of renewable energy in its total power consumption from 33% to 70% in the near future.

Chairman and Managing Director Riju Jhunjhunwala said the move aligns business growth with sustainability and places RSWM ahead of India’s national clean energy mix average of 31%. AESL CEO Kandarp Patel said the partnership highlights the growing role of renewables in industrial operations.

RSWM operates 12 plants producing yarns and fabrics for export to over 70 countries. Its sustainability measures have cut 8 lakh tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, saved 2.33 lakh KL of water, and recycled 183 crore PET bottles each year.
