KPI Green Energy wins Rs 696.5 crore solar EPC project from SJVN

KPI Green Energy Limited has received a contract worth Rs 696.50 crore from SJVN Limited for a 200 MW (AC) solar power project at the GIPCL Renewable Energy Park in Khavda, Gujarat. The project includes engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and a long-term operation and maintenance (O&M) agreement.
The award is divided into three contracts. The first, covering the supply of all plant and equipment, is valued at Rs 486.89 crore. The second, for erection, testing, commissioning, and civil works, is worth Rs 178.27 crore. The third, for comprehensive O&M services over three years, is valued at Rs 31.34 crore. EPC activities will proceed as per the project schedule, with O&M to begin after commercial operation.
This project strengthens KPI Green Energy’s presence in the Khavda Renewable Energy Park, where it is already developing a 645 MWp solar cluster. With this addition, the company’s total capacity in Khavda will exceed 845 MWp (DC). The company stated that the contract from a central public sector enterprise like SJVN reflects its capability to deliver integrated solar solutions from development to long-term operations.
