Ceigall India awarded 147 MW solar project in Maharashtra

Ceigall India has received a letter of award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to develop a 147 MWac grid-connected solar project under the Mukhymantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 Scheme.
The project will be spread across two districts, with Ceigall India responsible for its operation and maintenance. Power generated will be supplied to MSEDCL under a 25-year power purchase agreement. The project carries an EPC cost of approximately Rs 5.97 billion and is expected to be completed within 18 months.
Earlier in September 2025, Ceigall India, in partnership with ACME Solar Holdings, won Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited’s auction for a 600 MW grid-connected solar project with battery storage. In the same month, Ceigall India also secured two letters of intent from MSEDCL for 337 MW of additional solar projects.
