NTPC plans Rs 80,000 crore investment in RE projects in Telangana

NTPC has expressed interest in investing around Rs 80,000 crore in solar and wind power projects across Telangana, pointing to the state’s 6,700 MW potential for floating solar power generation.
NTPC’s Chairman and Managing Director, Gurdeep Singh and his team met with Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills. During the meeting, NTPC highlighted its plans to expand renewable energy capacity in the state.
The Chief Minister assured full support from the Telangana government to facilitate the investments and implement the projects. He reiterated the state’s commitment to promoting clean energy development.
