Tesla opens first supercharger station in India at Mumbai’s BKC

Tesla has launched its first supercharger station in India at One Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. The facility is located on the P1 parking level of the commercial hub.
The station features four direct current (DC) superchargers with a maximum output of 250 kW, priced at Rs 24 per kWh. It also includes four alternating current (AC) chargers rated at 11 kW, available at Rs 14 per kWh. At present, the charging infrastructure is exclusive to Tesla vehicles.
The DC superchargers can add up to 267 km of range in 15 minutes for Tesla’s Model Y, enabling efficient city driving and short-distance travel. Tesla vehicle owners can view charger availability, track charging sessions, receive alerts, and complete payments using the Tesla mobile application.
