O2 Power Private Limited has commissioned a 400 MW Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS)-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) power project in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The project was officially completed on July 10, 2025.
The project was awarded under NTPC’s solar tender floated in February 2020 for developing 1,200 MW of ISTS-connected solar PV projects across India. O2 Power secured the 400 MW capacity in October 2022 at a tariff of Rs 2.43 per kWh through a competitive bidding process.
The solar facility is now connected to the ISTS network and will supply power as part of NTPC’s renewable energy procurement programme.
