Toyota Tsusho and CleanMax to jointly develop 300 MW RE project

Toyota Tsusho India Private Limited (TTIPL) and CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions Private Limited have signed an agreement to jointly develop a 300 MW renewable energy (RE) project in India. The agreement was signed on June 30, 2025.

The project will be executed by a joint venture (JV) formed between TTIPL and CleanMax and is scheduled for commissioning by March 2028.

The JV aims to offer customised RE solutions, including rooftop solar installations, ground-mounted solar or wind projects, and wind-solar hybrid systems. It will also provide carbon credits. The electricity generated will be supplied to Indian and Japanese corporations operating in India through long-term Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (CPPAs).
