NTPC REL begins full commercial operation of 325 MW solar project in MP

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has begun commercial operations of 120 MW under Phase-III of the 220 MW Unit-2 solar project. This phase went live on June 29, 2025.

With this, NTPC REL has fully commissioned the 325 MW Shajapur Solar Power Park Project in Madhya Pradesh. The project consists of two units—Unit-1 with 105 MW and Unit-2 with 220 MW—of grid-connected solar photovoltaic (PV) capacity.

Located in Shajapur district, the project was implemented by NTPCGE Power Services Private Limited (NGSL), a joint venture between NTPC and GE Power.
