JSW signs PPA with NHPC for 300 MW hybrid project

Energizent Power Private Limited, a step-down subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with NHPC Limited on June 25, 2025. The agreement covers a 300 MW wind-solar hybrid power project to be developed in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.
The project was originally awarded in February 2024 to Energizent Power, then a wholly-owned subsidiary of O2 Power Private Limited. The company had secured the capacity by quoting a tariff of Rs 3.49 per kWh in NHPC’s auction for 1,500 MW wind-solar hybrid power projects. JSW Energy later acquired O2 Power, bringing the project under its portfolio.
The 300 MW project, to be located across sites in Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.
