Only two underground coal blocks receive bids in 12th auction round

The Ministry of Coal’s Nominated Authority opened bids for six underground coal blocks under the 12th round of commercial coal auctions. Bids were received for only two blocks.
Only two of the six blocks received bids, with a total of 14 bids submitted for these blocks. Both are non-coking coal blocks located in the Rajgamar Dipside region.
Rajgamar Dipside (Deavnara) received 6 bids, while Rajgamar Dipside (South of Phulakdih Nala) attracted 8 bids.

The Technical Evaluation Committee will now review the bids. Only technically qualified bidders will move forward to the electronic auction stage on the MSTC portal.
