NTPC Limited has invited bids for enlistment of agencies to carry out geotechnical investigation works for upcoming nuclear power projects (NPPs). The deadline for bid submission is May 30, 2025.
The scope includes investigations at four key project stages: site selection (preparatory), site evaluation (preliminary), excavation consent (detailed), and first pour of concreting (confirmatory). These investigations may be required on land or in water bodies, such as rivers or seas, particularly for intake well design and related infrastructure.
The work also includes drilling, soil and rock testing, data analysis, and report preparation. NTPC will issue tenders to the shortlisted agencies after the enlistment process.
