Koraam New Energie bags Rs1.86bn order for 5,500 solar pumps

Koraam New Energie, a subsidiary of Kosol Energie, has secured an order worth Rs 1.86 billion for the supply of 5,500 solar pumps under Component B of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyaan (PM-KUSUM) scheme.
The order was placed by various nodal agencies. Of the total, 3,000 pumps have been allocated under Maharashtra’s Magel Tyala Saur Pump Yojana. Out of these, 2,200 pumps have already been installed.
Beyond pump supply, Koraam is working on new solar-powered solutions for post-harvest and dairy sectors. Planned products include solar milk chillers, solar dryers, and solar refrigeration storage systems.
