Raychem RPG becomes first Indian firm to earn E3, C3, F1 certification for cast resin transformers

Raychem RPG has become the first Indian manufacturer to earn the E3, C3, and F1 certifications for its cast resin transformers (CRTs).
The certification was awarded after rigorous testing at CESI laboratories in Italy. CESI is renowned for its advanced testing facilities, including KEMA Labs, which is known for its high-power laboratory capabilities.
In a statement, Raychem RPG said the certification aligns with the IEC60076-11:2018 global standard. It represents a key step in improving safety, sustainability, and performance in transformer technology for the Indian power sector.
The E3, C3, and F1 ratings mean the transformers can perform reliably under tough conditions. Specifically:
