Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has started commercial operations on five renewable energy projects with a combined capacity of 480.1 MW. These projects are part of the massive 30,000 MW Khavda Wind-Solar Hybrid Renewable Energy Power Park in Gujarat’s Rann of Kutch.
The projects, which went live on March 30, 2025, include both wind and solar power developments under different special purpose vehicles (SPVs):
These projects contribute to AGEL’s broader goal of developing 26,000 MW of solar and 4,000 MW of wind capacity at the Khavda park. Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) is the nodal agency overseeing the project, while AGEL is leading its development.
In parallel, the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), and the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) are working on transmission infrastructure to support the renewable power generated in the region.
